Vonozan

Vonozan (Vonoprazan) Tablet is used to cure duodenal ulcers, Gastric ulcers, reflux esophagitis, prevention of recurrence of gastric during low-dose aspirin administration, prevention of recurrence of gastric or duodenal ulcer during non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).

Package contains: Each pack of this medicine contains 14’s tablets of 10mg. It is also available as: Vonozan 20mg.

Vonoprazan fumarate equivalent to Vonoprazan 10mg

How it works: Vonozan Tablets are adjunct to helicobacter pylori eradication in the following settings: Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastric mucosa-associated lymphatic tissue (MALT) lymphoma, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura.

It is also helpful to the stomach after endoscopic resection of early-stage gastric cancer or Helicobacter pylori gastritis.

Side effects:

Some side effects may be caused by these Tablets, but they are extremely rare. Common side-effects are;

  • Diarrhoea Vonozan-back
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Constipation
  • Abdominal Pain
  • Skin Rash
  • Heartburn.

One case of erythema multiforme, which required oral steroid treatment, has been reported during first-line treatment with vonoprazan.

Instructions:

  • Do not store above 30o C.
  • Protect from heat, light and moisture.
  • Keep all medicine out of reach of children.
