Triforge (Amlodipine + Valsartan + Hydrochlorothiazide) (5/160/12.5) tablet is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).

Uses: This medicine is indicated for the treatment of hypertension and to prevent certain types of chest pain (angina).                

Package Contains: It contains 28 film coated tablets of 5/160/12.5 mg.

Composition:

Each film coated tablet contains:

Amlodipine (as besylate) U.S.P 5mg

Valsartan U.S.P 160mg

Hydrochlorothiazide U.S.P 12.5mg

Side Effects: It can cause: Inflammation of the nose and throat, Dizziness, Nausea or stomach pain, Swelling of the feet, Headache, Lightheadedness, and Ankles, Clammy skin.

Precautions:

It should be use in caution if patient has an electrolyte imbalance (such as high or low potassium levels in your blood).

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with liver disease, thyroid problems.

This drug may pose risks to your pregnancy, therefore please do not take this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Before taking amlodipine, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it.
