Sumoxen (Sumatriptan + Naproxen Sodium) Tablet is used for the treatment of migraine symptoms and sensitivity to light or sound, pain, nausea, and headache.

Composition:

Each film coated tablet contains:

Sumatriptan Succinate BP

Equivalent to Sumatriptan 85mg.

Naproxen Sodium USP 500mg.

Uses: Sumoxen Tablet is composed of Sumatriptan + Naproxen sodium. Sumatriptan is a triptan, which shows effectiveness by blocking the activity of serotonin; a natural substance that causes narrowing of the blood vessels.

Naproxen belongs to a group of medicines known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which shows effectiveness by relieving the symptoms of pain.

Side Effects:

Some side effects may be caused by this Tablet, but they are extremely rare. Side effects can include:

  • Dizziness
  • Flushing Sumoxen-back
  • Nausea
  • Weakness
  • Drowsiness
  • Tiredness
  • Numbness
  • Upset stomach

Some serious side effects may also occur;

  • Blue fingers of nails
  • Mood changes
  • Easy bleeding
  • Symptoms of heart failure
  • Sudden weight gain
  • Painful swallowing

Signs of kidney problems.
