Sterling

Sterling (Sertraline) tablet is an antidepressant that belongs to a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with depression, panic, anxiety, or obsessive-compulsive symptoms.

Package Contains: Sterling contains 3 x 10’s tablets of 50mg and is also available as 100 mg (2 x 10’s).

Composition: Sterling

Each film coated tablet contains:

Sertraline as HCl 50mg.

Dosage: As prescribed by the physician. To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical partitioner only. For complete prescribing information please read the accompanying package insert.

Uses: Sertraline is used to treat depression, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety disorder (social phobia), and a severe form of premenstrual syndrome (premenstrual dysphoric disorder).

Side effects: Seizure, Vision changes, Eye pain, Redness, Swelling, Headache, and Sexual problems.

Precautions: You should not use sertraline if you are allergic to it. Do not use sertraline within 14 days before or after using an MAO inhibitor. Tell your doctor if you have ever had liver or kidney disease, heart disease or bleeding problems, etc.
