Sivab

Sivab (Ivabradine) 5mg Tablet is an antianginal medication. It is used for the treatment of heart-associated chest pain (angina) and heart failure. Each 5mg Tablet of Sivab contains the active ingredient Ivabradine, which belongs to the class of drugs called hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated (HCN) channel blockers.

Working: It works by decreasing the heart rate, helping the heart pump more blood through the body with every beat.

Uses: This medication is used by people with a certain heart problem. Its use is indicated for the treatment and management of stable angina pectoris in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) with or without beta-blockers, and chronic heart failure. Sivab

Package contains: There are 14 tablets of  5MG  5MG in the box and also available as 7.5mg.

Each film coated tablet contains:

Ivabradine Hydrochloride equivalent to Ivabradine 5mg.

Dosage: As directed by the physician or see package insert for full prescribing information.

Side effects:

Some of the side effects are as follows

  • Blurred vision
  • Visual impairment
  • Headache
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Abdominal pain Sivab-back
  • Diarrhea
  • Muscle spasms

Instructions:

Store at 25oC (Excursions permitted between 15oC-30oC).

Protect from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
