Sitagliptin 50mg.

Uses: Setformin Tablet is composed of Sitagliptin Phosphate + Metformin. Sitagliptin Phosphate belongs to a group of drugs known as dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors. Metformin belongs to a group of medicines known as biguanides. It shows effectiveness by increasing the level of incretins.

Side Effects:

Some side effects may be caused by tablets, but they are extremely rare. Common side-effects are;

  • Stomach upset Setformin-back
  • Metallic taste in the mouth 
  • Headache 
  • Nausea

Some serious side effects may also occur;

  • Signs of kidney problems
  • Joint pain
  • Sudden weight gain
  • Skin blisters
  • Swelling of ankles or feet

Warning:

  • Metformin has a black box FDA warning on the labeling and may rarely cause lactic acidosis as a severe side effect. Let your doctor know is you have ever experienced liver or kidney disease, heat disease heart attack, stroke, or ketoacidosis.
  • Stop taking Metformin and call your doctor right away if your experienced extreme weakness, vomiting, have difficulty breathing, muscle pain, feeling cold, of flushed skin.
