Serc (Betahistine Dihydrochloride) 8mg is used for Meniere’s syndrome, Balance disorders, and other conditions. It is used to treat: dizziness (vertigo) ringing in the ears (tinnitus) hearing loss suffered by people with Ménière’s disease.

Composition:

Each tablet contains:

Betahistine Dihydrochloride B.P 8mg.

Dosage: As directed by the physician or medical practitioner. For details see enclosed leaflet.

Instructions:

Store in a cool, dark & dry place.

Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.

To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.

Side effects: Vomiting, abdominal pain and bloating, stomach upset, itching and skin rashes, hives.

Precaution: Take special care if you have or ever had a stomach or intestinal ulcer, have asthma. Take it with food. Do not take in larger amounts than advised. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable effects. Do not stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor. This medicine may increase the risk of stomach ulcers.

Inform the doctor if you have a history of peptic ulcer disease or any gastrointestinal disease. Drink an adequate amount of water to prevent stomach irritation.
