Seradep

Seradep (Escitalopram) 100 mg tablet is used to treat depression and anxiety. It works by helping to restore the balance of a certain natural substance (serotonin) in the brain. Escitalopram belongs to a class of drugs known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI).

Uses This medication is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder.

Package contains: A broad Seradep one packet having 14 tablets coated with protective film and leaflets (instructions).

Composition: Seradep

Each enteric-coated tablet contains:

Escitalopram (as Escitalopram oxalate) 10 mg

Dosage: As per the directions of the physician. Read the instructions inside the package.

Important Instructions:

All medicines should be kept out of the reach of the children.

Protect the medicine from the following: Heat, Light, Moisture, and Freeze. Store below 30°C. For oral use only.

Cautions: This may cause some side effects: Dizziness, Stomach pain, Anxiety, Headache, Dry cough, Malaise, Constipation, Heartburn, Stiffness. If any of these side effects persist, immediately consult the physician.

Warnings: Seradep-2

  • Avoid taking medicine without the direction of the physician.
  • Must see the expiry date before using
  • Limited use during breastfeeding.
  • To be sold on prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
  • Avoid using it in the last stage of pregnancy.
