Savesto

Savesto (Sacubitril + Valsartan) Tablet is used for the treatment of symptomatic chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. This medicine is also used with other heart failure therapies.

Usage: Savesto Tablet is composed of Sacubitril + Valsartan. Sacubitril belongs to a group of medicines known as neprilysin inhibitors which show effectiveness by blocking the activity of neprilysin. Valsartan refers to a group of medicines known as angiotensin receptor blockers which work by relaxing the blood vessels.

Package contains: It contains 14 tablets of 50mg(24mg+26mg). Also available as: Savesto 100mg/200mg Tablets.

Composition:

Each film coated tablet contains:

Sacubitril 24mg

Valsartan 26mg.

(As sacubitril Valsartan sodium salt complex)

Side Effects:

Some side effects may be caused by this medicine but they are extremely rare.

Common side-effects are;

Anemia
Nausea
Hypokalemia
Headache
Hypoglycemia
Nausea
Hypotension
Diarrhea
Renal failure
Asthenia and fatigue
Vertigo

Some serious side effects may also occur;

Fainting
Signs of kidney problems
Symptoms of a high blood pressure
Muscle weakness
Irregular heartbeat
