Oniron
Oniron (Ondansetron) Tablet is an antiemetic drug. It is usually prescribed for the relief and prevention of vomiting and nausea in patients undergoing radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
Oniron Tablet contains active ingredients Ondansetron, which belongs to the group of medicines known as serotonin receptor blockers. It is very effective for the treatment of nausea and vomiting due to cytotoxic radiation therapy and chemotherapy in cancer patients.
It works by acting on the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) and vagus nerve to prohibit the activity of serotonin, a natural substance in the body responsible for vomiting and nausea.
