Naprosyn

Naprosyn (Naproxen) by Martin Dow is a 5000 mg with 20 low-level excipient tablets. Naprosyn (naproxen) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties.

Package Contains: Each Naprosyn package contains 20 low-level excipient tablets and a leaflet inserted inside.

Composition: Naprosyn

Each LLE tablet contains:

Naproxen (USP) 500mg

Dosage & Administration: As directed by the physician or see package insert.

Uses/Indications: Naprosyn is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis.
  • Ankylosing spondylitis.
  • Gout.
  • Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Dysmenorrhea
  • Migraine treatment and prophylaxis
  • Analgesic and antipyretic use in adults, including postpartum non-nursing mothers.
  • Analgesic and antipyretic use in children.
  • Periarticular and musculoskeletal indications, such as bursitis, tendinitis, synovitis, tenosynovitis, and low back pain
  • For the relief of acute and/or chronic pain states in which there is an inflammatory component.
  • Surgical manipulafions and trauma – sprains, strains, orthopedic maniputations, dental extractions, and surgery.

Undesirable Effects: The following are the adverse events observed most frequently in association with Naproxen:

Gastrointestinal: Abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia, heartburn, central nervous system: dizziness, drowsiness, headache, lightheadedness, and vertigo.

Dermatologic: Ecchymoses, itching (pruritus), purpura, skin eruptions, and sweating.

Special Senses: Hearing disturbances, tinitus and visual disturbances.

Cardiovascular: Dyspnea, edema and palpitations. Naprosyn back
