Jardin-D

Jardin-D (Desloratadine) is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives, and itching. It works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction.

Composition:

Each film-coated tablet contains:

  • Desloratadine USP 5mg.
  • Mfg. Specs.: USP

Dosage: As directed by the physician or see package insert for full prescribing information.

Therapeutic indications:

  1. Seasonal allergic rhinitis:

Jardin-D tablets are indicated for the relief of nasal and non-nasal symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in patients 12 years of age or older.

  • Perennial allergic rhinitis:

Jardin-D tablets are indicated for the relief of nasal and non-nasal symptoms of perennial allergic rhinitis in patients 12 years of age or older.

  • Chronic idiopathic urticaria:

Jardin-D tablets are indicated for the relief of pruritus, reduction in the number of hives, and in patients with chronic idiopathic urticaria 12 years of age or older.

Contra-indication:  It is contraindicated in patients who have shown hypersensitivity or idiosyncrasy to Desloratadine, to Loratadine, or any of the excipients.
