Hydralazine HCl

Hydralazine HCl Tablet is generally used as an anti-asthma medication.

Package contains: Each pack of Hydralazine HCl contains 20 Tablets of 25mg.

Composition: Hydralazine-HCl

Each Tablet contains:

Hydralazine HCl USP 25mg

USP Specs

Dosage: As directed by the physician and Dosage must be individualized. Generally, as, in Hypertension; 25mg twice daily, increased to usual max.

50mg twice daily, in Heart Failure (initiated in Hospital): 25mg 3-4 times daily, increased every 2 days if necessary, usual maintenance dose 50mg – 75mg 4 times daily.

Indications: Hydralazine Tablets are indicated in the management of moderate to severe essential hypertension (usually in conjunction with a beta blocker and a thiazide diuretics) and in heart failure (with long-acting nitrate).

Contra-Indications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the product, coronary artery disease mitral valvular rheumatic heart disease, severe tachycardia, idiopathic SLE, and porphyria.

Precautions: Should be used with caution in the patients with ischemic heart disease cerebrovascular disorders, and impaired renal or hepatic function. Hydralazine-HCl-back

Side effects:

  • Flushing.
  • Headache.
  • Upset Stomach.
  • Vomiting.
  • Loss of Appetite.
  • Diarrhea.
  • Constipation.
  • Eye Tearing.

Instructions: Store below 30oC. Protect from light and moisture. Keep all medicine out of reach of children.
