Hexidyl (Trihexyphenidyl HCl) tablet is usually used to treat the stiffness, spasms, tremors, and poor muscle control of Parkinson’s disease.

Indications:
Hexidyl tablet is useful in the treatment of all forms of parkinsonism (Arteriosclerotic and Idiopathic) as well as in the prevention or control of extrapyramidal disorder due to the nervous system.
Hexidyl tablet is especially effective in reducing the rigidity of muscle, spasm and is useful in relieving the depression and mental inertia characteristics of the syndrome.
Contraindications: Known hypersensitivity.
Adverse Effect: Dryness of mouth, blurring of vision, dizziness, mild nausea or nervousness may occur.
Precautions: Hexidyl is not contraindicated for patients with cardiac, liver, or kidney disorders or with hypertension. Hexidyl possesses some parasympatholytic activity. It should be used with caution in patients with glaucoma obstruction disease of the gastrointestinal tract.
Side Effects:
Drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, flushing, nausea, constipation, nervousness, or dry mouth may occur.
Instructions: Store at room temperature (15oC-30oC). Protect from sunlight & humidity. Keep all medicine out of reach of children. To be sold by a retailer on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
