 Glucovance (Metformin – Glibenclamide) tablet works by helping to restore your body’s proper response to the insulin you naturally produce.

Glucovance is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Glucovance belongs to a class of drugs called Antidiabetics, Sulfonylureas/Biguanides.

Package Contains: It contains 2 x 15’s tablets of 500mg/5mg.

Composition:

Each film coated tablet contains:

Metformin hydrochloride Ph. Eur. 500mg

Glibenclamide Ph. Eur. 5mg

Dosage: Directions for use enclosed. For adults & oral route. Just before meals.

Uses: This combination medication is used with a proper diet and exercise program to control high blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. It may also be used with other diabetes medications. This product contains 2 medications. 

Precautions: Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.

Side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, diarrhea, or weight gain may occur.

Consult your doctor if any of these side effects occur easy bleeding/bruising, signs of infection (such as persistent sore throat, fever), persistent nausea, severe stomach/abdominal pain, yellowing eyes/skin, dark urine.

Instructions:

Store below 30°C.

Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

Protect from light, heat and moisture.
