Emkit (Levonorgestrel BP) Tablet is an Emergency oral contraceptive pill.

Pack contains: One pack of this medicine contains 2 tablets of 0.75mg.

Composition: Emkit

Each film coated tablet contains:

Levonorgestrel 0.75mg

Dosage: Use as directed by the physician. For further information please read the enclosed leaf insert.

Uses: It is usually used to prevent pregnancy after unsafe sexual intercourse. It is helpful if you haven’t used protection or birth control.

Emkit is composed of Levonorgestrel. If you are pregnant then it would not cause an abortion. It is a hormonal medicine that works by controlling specific hormones in the female body if used timely and correctly.

Caution/Warning: Not more than 4 tablets are allowed to be taken orally in a month.

Side Effects:

Side effects can include: Emkit-back

  • Vomiting
  • Nausea
  • Abdominal Pain.
  • Bleeding or spotting between periods.
  • Headache or feeling tired.
