Dimis (Diclofenac Sodium/Misoprostol) Tablet is an anti-inflammatory medicine usually used for the treatment of both chronic and acute pain such as conditions like arthritis, back pain, minor surgery pain, and joint stiffness. Each tablet of Dimis contains the active ingredients Diclofenac Sodium (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) and Misoprostol (gastrointestinal agent).

You may take it for the management of pain in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and various other acute musculoskeletal disorders. The active ingredient in this medicine Diclofenac is an NSAID that prohibits the enzymes important for producing prostaglandins (PGs).

Package contains: Each pack of this medicine contains 20’s tablets of 50/200mg. It is also available as: Dimis 75/200mg.

Each film coated tablet contains:

Diclofenac Sodium (B.P) 50mg

Misoprostol B.P (B.P) 200mcg

Side effects:

Some side effects may be caused by these Tablets, but they are commonly rare. Common side-effects are;

  • Diarrhoea Dimis-back
  • Abdominal pain
  • Nausea
  • Heartburn and gas
  • Headache
  • Drowsiness
