Dapa-met XR (Dapagliflozin + Metformin HCI extended-release) is in form of a tablet. it is the combination of two ingredients Dapagliflozin and Metformin HCI for extended-release. It is used with a healthy diet and proper exercise to control high blood sugar in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Package Contains: Dapa-met XR contains 14 film coated tablets of 10mg/1000mg and it is also available as 5mg/1000mg.

Composition:

Each film coated bi-layered tablet contains:

Dapagliflozin (as Propanediol Monohydrate) 10mg

(Immediate Release)

Metformin Hydrochloride, USP 1000mg

(Extended Release)

Dosage: As prescribed by the physician.

Uses: It is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It helps by preventing loss of limbs, blindness, kidney damage, nerve problems, and sexual problems by lowering high blood sugar levels.

Precautions: This medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.

Side effects: Sore throat, Runny nose, Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhea, Headache & Stomach problems.
