Coversam
Coversam (Peridodopril tert-butylamine + amlodipine (besilate) Tablet is used for the treatment of hypertension or high blood pressure. Hypertension can cause strokes, heart attacks, strokes, and kidney damage. It controls and prevents high blood pressure.
Coversam Tablet contains Perindopril + Amlodipine. Perindopril belongs to the group of medicines known as angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. Amlodipine refers to class of medicines commonly known as calcium channel blockers.
Package contains: Coversam contains 10’s tablets of 4/5mg in its pack. It is also available as: Coversam 4/10mg,8/10mg, and 8/5mg.
Composition: 
Each film coated tablet contains:
Peridodopril tert-butylamine Ph. Eur 4mg
Amlodipine (as besilate) Ph. Eur 5mg
Excipients: q.s for one tablet

Common side-effects are;
- Dizziness
- Flushing
- Cough
- Nausea
- Lightheadedness
- Swelling of ankles or feet
Few serious side effects include:
- Chest pain
- Fainting
- Shortness of breath
- Irregular heartbeat
- Unusual sweating
- Muscle weakness
- Signs of kidney problems
