CoTasmi

CoTasmi (Telmisartan + Hydrochlorothiazide) Tablet is a helpful medicine as an anti-hypertensive. It contains two drugs, which help reduce hypertension and prevent some cardiovascular conditions.

How it works: CoTasmi Tablet is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It contains Telmisartan USP and Hydrochlorothiazide USP as the active ingredients.

Telmisartan belongs to the group of medicines known as ARBs, which relax the arteries. The second component of this medicine Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic type of medicine that helps to lower blood pressure.

Package contains: Each pack of this medicine contains 14’s tablets of 40mg+12.5mg. It is also available as: Co-Tasmi 80+12.5mg

Each film coated tablet contains:

Telmisartan USP 40mg

Hydrochlorothiazide USP 12.5mg.

Side effects:

Some side effects may be caused by these Tablets, but they are extremely rare. Common side-effects are;

  • Lightheadedness CoTasmi-back
  • Dizziness
  • Bladder pain
  • Decreased urine

Some serious side effects may also occur;

  • Eye pain
  • Breathing problems
  • Decreased in vision
  • Signs of kidney problems
  • Joint pain
  • Severe dizziness

Instructions:

  • Store at 25o C (Excursions permitted between 15o C-30o C).
  • Protect from heat, light and moisture.
  • Keep all medicine out of reach of children.
  • To be sold on prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
