AVSAR PLUS (valsartan+ Amlodipine+ Hydrochlorothiazide) 160/10/25mg tablet is used for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. This medicine fixed-dose combination is indicated in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled, heart failure, Post –Myocardial infarction.

Package contains Each package of AVSAR PLUS contains 28 tablets.

Composition AVSAR-PLUS-1

Each film coated tablet contains:

Valsartan USP 160mg.

Amlodipine (as besylate) USP 10mg.

Hydrochlorothiazide USP 25mg.

Side effects

It may cause

  • Headache.
  • Dizziness.
  • Hypotension.
  • Hyperkalemia.
  • Stomach pain.
  • Back pain. etc.

If any of these side effects occur and worsen so contact your doctor immediately.

Warning and Precautions

  • Share your medical history with your doctor before using these tablets.
  • You shouldn’t use it if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients.
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, it is better to consult your doctor before taking it.
  • Use with caution in renal artery stenosis, avoid in bilateral renal artery stenosis.
  • It is not recommended with the elderly population with diabetes and kidney diseases.
  • Only use on medical advice.
