Avelon

Avelon (Moxifloxacin) tablet is helpful to treat different types of bacterial infections of the skin, sinuses, lungs, or stomach. It belongs to a class of drugs called quinolone antibiotics and is not useful for viral infections like the common cold and flu. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

Each film coated tablet contains:

Moxifloxacin (as HCl) 400mg.

Uses: Avelon tablet is helpful to control, prevent, and improve the following diseases, conditions, and symptoms like sinus and lung infections, community-acquired pneumonia, skin infections, stomach infections, and plague. It is helpful for patients of 18 years of age and older. It works by restricting a bacteria’s ability to copy the DNA. This action helps kill bacteria and stops them from reproducing.

Side effects:

All products with an active ingredient can cause side effects, although they are rare. Side effects can include:

  • Nausea. Avelon-back
  • Diarrhoea.
  • Headache.
  • Vomiting.
  • Dizziness.
  • Agitation.
  • Nightmares.

Symptoms of an allergy include:

  • Rash
  • Itching/ swelling
  • Severe dizziness
  • Trouble breathing.

Instructions: Store at room temperature 15o C-25o C. Protect from light, heat and moisture. Keep all medicines out of reach of children. To be sold only on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner.
