Zincat-OD

Zincat-OD syrup  (Zinc Sulphate oral solution USP) elemental zinc with vanilla flavour is a solution that is used for treating childhood diarrhea and zinc deficiency.

Package contains: The package contains a bottle with approximately 60 ml syrup, a 5ml spoon & a leaflet. It is also available in the 20mg film-coated tablet.

Composition: Zincat-OD

Each 5ml contains

Elemental Zinc (as Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate USP) 20mg.

Dosage and administration:

Children: One spoonful ( given with the bottle) 5ml daily once, for (10 -14 days).

Infant: (under six months) half spoon ( given with the bottle) 2.5 ml once daily for (10-14 days) or as directed by the physician.

Side effects:

Side effects that occur through Zincat-OD may be temporary or for the time body is taking to adjust with medicine. Symptoms may be Constipation, Upset stomach.

Contradictions: The medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to drugs.

Instruction: Zincat-OD-back

  • Do not store & transport above 30°C & avoid freezing.
  • Protect from heat & light.
  • Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
  • Tighten the cap after use.
  • Shake well before use.

Warning:

Before using the Zincat-OD syrup, tell your doctor if you are allergic, have any allergy, liver issue, stomach issue, ulcer, or colitis.

This medicine passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.

Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.
