Spasem by Biowell is a 120 ml sugar-free syrup. It is an antacid, antispasmodic, and carminative syrup used to relieve abdominal cramps, stomach pain, gas, and colic in children and adults.

Package Contains: Each spasem package contains a syrup bottle of 120 ml and a measuring spoon.

Composition:

Each 5 ml contains

Fennel Oil (BP) 2mg

Cardamom Oil (BP) 2mg

Cinnamon Oil (BP) 2mg

Clove Oil (BP) 2mg

Thymol (BP) 2mg

Menthol (BP) 2mg

Camphor (BP) 1mg.

Dosage & Administration:

As directed by the physician.
One to six years: 1/2 to teaspoon three times a day.
Six to twelve years: 1 to 2 teaspoons three times a day.
Adults: Two tablespoons three times a day or as advised by the doctor
For the children below six years, use Spasmocalm drops.

Indications / Uses: Spasem is a combination medicine in which antacids relieve excess stomach acid, antispasmodics ease intestinal cramps by relaxing the gut muscles, and carminatives help expel gas to reduce bloating.

It is indicated for the following:

Colic & gastric pain
Flatulence
Dyspepsia
Loss of appetite
Heartburn
Stomach fullness feeling and other symptoms
Associated with disturbances
System disturbances
A pure botanical preparation.

Side Effects: These ingredients are mostly essential oils used as carminatives and mild antiseptics, but they can still cause side effects, especially in higher doses or sensitive individuals; minor side effects may include stomach irritation, nausea, mild abdominal discomfort, and nausea.

Instructions:

Shake well before use.
Use a calibrated measuring spoon or cup.
