Pedrol

Pedrol (PARACETAMOL) BP by Stanley is a 60 ml, banana-flavoured oral suspension. It is used to reduce pain/fever.

Package Contains: Each Pedrol package contains an oral suspension (syrup) bottle of 60ml.

Composition: EACH 5 ml CONTAINS: Pedrol

Paracetamol (B.P.) 120 mg

(BP Specifications).

Dosage & Administration:

Age Dosage
Under 1 year 1/2 teaspoonful
1 to 5 years 1 teaspoonful
6 to 12 years 2 teaspoonful
Over 12 years 2 teaspoonful

Dosage may be repeated up to 4 times a day with an interval of 4 hours or as directed by the physician.

Uses & Indications: Pedrol suspension is used for the treatment of painful and feverish conditions, including cold, influenza, toothache, and teething.

Side Effects: Like other medicines, Pedrol may cause some side effects, such as:

  • Nausea.
  • Vomiting.
  • Mild stomach upset.
  • Loss of appetite.

Contra-Indications: It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to paracetamol.

Precautions & Warnings: Pedrol should be used with caution in patients with impaired kidney or liver function.

Instruction: Shake well before each use.

Store in a dry place between 15-30°c. protect from sunlight.

Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep this and all medicines out of the reach of children.
