Pectus

Pectus Syrup is used for Cough, Pseudobulbar, Obesity, Nasal congestion, Urinary incontinence, Allergy, Hay fever, Common cold, Watery eyes, Itchy throat/skin, and other conditions.

It works by providing relief from cough; constricting the blood vessels in the body; blocking H1-receptor sites on tissues; thinning the mucus in the air passages; regulating the intake of sodium and potassium.

Uses: It is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions, and symptoms:

  • Cough. pectus
  • Pseudo bulbar effect.
  • Obesity.
  • Nasal congestion.
  • Urinary incontinence.
  • Allergy.
  • High fever.
  • Common cold.
  • Watery eyes.
  • Itchy throat.

Composition:

Each 5 ml contains:

Dextromethorphan HBr 10mg

Chlorpheniramine Maleate 3.75mg

Phenylephrine HCL 5mg

Guaiphenesin 100mg

Sodium Citrate 150 mg

Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to Pectus Syrup is a contraindication.

In addition, Pectus Syrup should not be used if you have the following conditions:

  • Allergic reactions.
  • Anuria.
  • Azotemia.
  • Breastfeeding.
  • Breathing difficulty.
  • Heat cramps.
  • Hyperkalemia.
  • Hypersensitivity.
  • Impaired renal function with oliguria. Pectus-back

Dosage :

Adult: 1 to 2 teaspoons 3 times daily.

Children 6 to 12 years: ½ to 1 teaspoon 3 times daily.

2 to 6 years: ¼ to ½ teaspoon 3 times daily.
