Pacific’s DM (Dextromethorphan HBr) DM is an alcohol-free sucrose-free cough syrup or cough suppressant used for fast-acting relief for dry, hacking, non-productive coughs due to colds.

Pack contains: Each packet contains 120 ml cough syrup.

Composition:

Each 5ml contains:

Dextromethorphan HBr BP 12.5mg.

Directions:

To be administered after every four to six hours.

1-2 teaspoons for adults above 12 years old.

1/4-1/2 teaspoon for 2 to 6 years children.

1/2-1 teaspoon for 6 to 12 years children.

If preferred mix with equal parts of honey.

Cautions:

Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Do not give the children under two years of age or to a person with asthma unless directed by a physician.

If cough worsens or persists for more than a week or is accompanied by a high fever, consult a physician.

Store below 30°C. Shake well before use.

Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.

Side effects:

It’s possible that you’ll feel drowsy/dizzy, nauseated, or vomit. 

With typical doses, some persons may experience extreme drowsiness/dizziness.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist right away if any of these side effects persist or worsen.

Precautions:

Misuse of this medicine (abuse) can have catastrophic consequences (e.g., brain damage, death).

Before you start breastfeeding, talk to your doctor.
