Indications / Uses:
Iron is an important component of hemoglobin, the protein that carries oxygen from the lungs to all tissues of the body and promotes iron-rich blood. Iron promotes normal red blood cell production and supports energy utilization. This formulation provides an advanced, patented form of iron which is non-constipating and gentle on the stomach.
Folic Acid (Folate) helps the formation of red blood cells and is required for energy production. It is often recommended for women during pregnancy.
Riboflavin (Vitamin B₂) is used for preventing low levels of riboflavin (riboflavin deficiency), cervical cancer, and migraine headaches. It is also used for treating riboflavin deficiency, acne, muscle cramps, burning feet syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, and blood disorders such as congenital methemoglobinemia and red blood cell aplasia. Some people use riboflavin for eye conditions including eye fatigue, cataracts, and glaucoma.
Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B₁₂) is used for treating and preventing vitamin B12 deficiency, a condition in which vitamin B12 levels in the blood are too low. It is also used to treat pernicious anemia, a serious type of anemia that is due to vitamin B12 deficiency and is found mostly in older people.
Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) not only improves the absorption of iron in the gastrointestinal tract, it also prevents the destruction of folic acid and other B vitamins due to its antioxidant properties.
