GT-Sturt
GT-Sturt (ONDANSETRON) USP is an anti-emetic 25ml syrup of 4mg/5ml strength in a strawberry Flavour. It is classified as an anti-emetic, which is a medication specifically used to prevent and treat nausea (feeling sick) and vomiting (being sick).
Package Contains: Each GT-Sturt syrup package contains a bottle of 25ml of 4mg/5ml & a leaflet. It is also available in the form of an injection of 8mg/4ml strength. 
Composition:
Each 5ml syrup contains:
Ondansetron 4mg
(As Ondansetron HCl dihydrate USP).
Finished Product Specs.: USP.
Dosage & Administration:
As directed by the physician.
Uses/Indications: GT-Sturt syrup is for management of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy (in adults and children) or radiotherapy for cancer (adults only). Preventing nausea and vomiting after surgery (adults only).
Contraindications: In patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the drug or any components of its formulation.
Side Effects: The following frequencies are estimated at the standard recommended doses of ondansetron. The adverse event profiles in children and adolescents were comparable to those seen in adults.

| Rare: | Transient visual disturbances (e.g. blurred vision) predominantly during IV administration²⁾. |
| Very rare: | Transient blindness predominantly during IV administration. |
| Cardiac disorders | |
| Uncommon: | Arrhythmias, chest pain with or without ST segment depression, bradycardia. |
| Rare: | QTc prolongation (including Torsade de Pointes). |
| Vascular disorders | |
| Common: | Sensation of warmth or flushing. |
| Uncommon: | Hypotension. |
| Respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders | |
| Uncommon: | Hiccups. |
| Gastrointestinal disorders | |
| Common: | Constipation. |
| Hepatobiliary disorders | |
| Uncommon: | Asymptomatic increases in liver function tests.³⁾ |
1. Observed without definitive evidence of persistent clinical sequelae.
2. The majority of the blindness cases reported resolved within 20 minutes. Most patients had received chemotherapeutic agents, which included cisplatin. Some cases of transient blindness were reported as cortical in origin.
3. These events were observed commonly in patients receiving chemotherapy with cisplatin.
