CB-Get (cefixime) U.S.P is powder for oral suspension (syrup). Its main ingredient is cefixime. Cefixime is used to treat bacterial infections in different parts of the body.

It belongs to the class of medicines known as cephalosporin antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth. However, this medicine will not work for colds, flu, or other virus infections.

It is an antibiotic medicine and is usually used for the treatment of bacterial infections like gonorrhea and bronchitis. It is also effective for bacterial infections of the throat, ears, and urinary tract.

Package Contains:  Each package contains 30ml suspension (syrup) when reconstituted of 100mg/5ml.

Each reconstituted 5ml contains:

Cefixime USP 100mg

(as Cefixime trihydrate)

Dosage: See package insert for full prescribing information or as directed by the physician.

Directions for preparation: Shake the bottle to loosen the powder. Fill previously boiled and cooled water up to the mark on the bottle & shake vigorously to make Suspension.

The reconstituted suspension can be used for up to 7 days, when stored at room temperature and up to 14 days when refrigerated.

Adverse Effects: It may cause diarrhea, dizziness and allergic reactions.

Contraindications: Patients with known hypersensitivity to the ingredient.

Instructions: Store below 25°C. Protect from sunlight & moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Shake well before use.
