Staars

Staars (Rosuvastatin) tablet is primarily indicated in conditions like Hypercholesterolaemia, Hyperlipidaemia, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Hypertriglyceridaemia.

Uses: It is used along with a proper diet to help lower bad cholesterol and fats and raise cholesterol in the blood.

Package Contains: It contains 30 tablets of 20mg.

Composition:

Each film coated tablet contains:

Rosuvastatin (as Calcium) 20 mg.

Dosage: As directed by the physician. Do not take more than the recommended dosage.

Precautions:

Store in a cool & dry place below 30°C, Protect from heat, sunlight & moisture.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Side effects: Drugs such as Cyclosporin, Quinidine may interact with this drug. It produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Abdominal pain, Myalgia. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Rosuvastatin therapy.

The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Rosuvastatin are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Headache, Nausea, Asthenia, Hypersensitivity, and Pancreatitis.
