Requip

Requip (Ropinirole) tablet is helpful for the treatment of low levels of dopamine in some parts of the brain. It contains ropinirole as an active ingredient and belongs to a group of medicines called dopamine agonists.

Uses: Used alone or with other medications to treat Parkinson’s disease. It can improve your ability to move and decrease shakiness (tremor), stiffness, slowed movement, and unsteadiness. Also used to treat restless legs syndrome (RLS).

Composition:

Each tablet contains 1mg Ropinirole as the hydrochloride.

Dosage & Administration:

As directed by the physician.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protect from light.

Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

Precautions: Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs alertness until you can do it safely. Do not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor. If you stop taking this medication for several days, you may need to increase your dose slowly back to your previous dosage.

Side effects: It can cause: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, weakness, unusual sweating, headache, and dry mouth may occur.
