Oxacam Plus

Oxacam Plus by International Pharma is a 1-liter drench liquid (Manufacturer Specs) for veterinary (animal) use only. Oxacam Plus is used as a drench for cattle, sheep, goats, camels, cows, and horses to control all the major stomach and intestinal roundworms.

Package Contains: Each pack of Oxacam Plus contains 1 liter of worm drench in liquid syrup form.

Composition:  Oxacam Plus

Each 100 ml contains:

Oxfendazole (B.P Vet) 2.265gm

Cobalt Sulphate 0.382gm

Sodium Selenite 0.035gm

Indications/ Uses: A broad-spectrum anthelmintic drench for cattle, sheep, goats, camels and horses. Oxacam-Plus is recommended to control major stomach and intestinal roundworms, lungworms, and tapeworms. It is ovicidal (kills roundworm eggs) in cattle and camel; Oxacam-Plus is effective for inhibition of larvae of ostertaggia and tape worms in sheep and goats.

It is used for additional control of inhibited haemonchus, larvae, benzimidazole-resistant haemonchus, tape worms, and lung worms. Oxacam-Plus has very good control of strongyles, ascarids and oxyurids.

Dosage & Administration:

  • A dosing regime will vary according to geographic area and climatic factors; in routine worming, the following doses are recommended as per standard body weight.
  • Shake well before use.
  • Only for oral administration.
Species Dosage
Cattle & Buffalo 1 ml per 8 kg body weight.
Sheep & Goats 1 ml per 8 kg body weight.
Horses 4.5 ml per 10 kg body weight.
Camels 1 ml per 8 kg body weight.

Warnings:

  • Allow an interval of 14 days between treatment and slaughter for human consumption.
  • Milk taken from animals within 2 days of treatment should not be used for human consumption.
  • After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water.
  • In case of contact with eyes wash immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
  • Wash out container thoroughly and dispose of safely.

  • As directed by the veterinary Doctor.
  • Store in a cool, dry & dark place.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • For veterinary use only.
