Ivotek

Ivotek S.C. injection by Star is a 50 ml veterinary (animal) product containing Ivermectin 1% w/v. It is used for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, and external parasites of cattle, Camels and sheep.

Indications / Uses: Ivotek is an effective cure and control of following parasites.

IN CATTLE:

  • Roundworms
  • Lungworms
  • Cattle grubs
  • Screw-worms
  • Fly larvae
  • Sucking lice
  • Mange mites

IN SHEEP:

  • Roundworms
  • Lungworms
  • Nasal bots
  • Mange Mites
  • Camels
  • Round worms
  • Mange Mites

Aids in control of Biting lice and ticks.

Ivotek is 0.1% w/v sterile solution of ivermectin, which is a highly active and safe broad spectrum antiparasitic agent. Ivotek effectively controls internal and external parasites that impair health and productivity of livestock.

Dosage & Administration:

  • CATTLE & CAMELS: The recommended dose volume 1ml / 50kg body weight by subcutaneous injection. Using a sterile syringe, inject under the loose skin in front of the shoulder.
  • SHEEP & GOATS: The recommended dose volume 0.5ml / 25kg body weight by subcutaneous injection. Be certain that the needle has penetrated the wool and skin before delivering the dose.
  • DOGS: Adjust dose according to weight as prescribed by the veterinary physician.

Precautions:

Do not re-use empty bottles.

Refrain from smoking and eating while handling the product. Wash hands thoroughly after use.

Vaccination of cattle against clostridium infections is strongly recommended.

Instructions:

Store at a cool and dry place.

Protect from moisture, freezing, heat & sunlight. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.

To be used as directed by veterinary practitioners only.

Withdrawal Period:

  • Meat: Cattle & Sheep: 21 days Camel:  28 days
  • Milk: Cattle & Camel producing milk should not be treated.

Note: This product is used subcutaneously only not to be used intravenously or intramuscularly.
