Genton 10% Injection (Gentamycin Sulphate) by LCI is a broad-spectrum antibiotic solution for injection. The medicine is farmers’ choice for veterinary (animal) use only. Gentamicin sulfate is an antibiotic medicine used to treat certain bacterial infections.

Package Contains: Each Genton package contains 100ml solution for injection in a glass bottle.

Composition:

Each ml contains:

Gentamycin Sulphate equal to 100mg Gentamycin base.

Indications/Uses: Genton injection is used for infections caused by micro-organisms susceptible to Gentamycin, like occurring in urogenital, respiratory-, skin, tissue, uterus- and gastro-intestinal infections in cattle, horses, sheep and goat.

Dosage & Administration:

• By intramuscular or slow intravenous injection.
• Poultry: 0.5ml/kgb/w
• Cattle, Horses, Foals, Calves, Sheeps and goats: 4ml per 100kg body weight.

Withdrawal period:

• For meat: 7 days
• For milk: 3 days.

Precautions: Genton injection should be used carefully and according to a veterinarian’s advice. A few important things to keep in mind:

Use only when needed. Follow the correct dose. Do not increase or repeat doses without veterinary guidance.
Make sure the animal has adequate access to clean water, unless a veterinarian has advised otherwise.
Tell the veterinarian about any other medicines the animal is receiving, as some medicines can increase the risk of kidney issues.
Use only after veterinary advice, particularly when the animal is pregnant or producing milk.
If the animal develops weakness, reduced urination, loss of balance, hearing problems, or other unexpected symptoms, contact a veterinarian promptly.
Observe withdrawal periods: For food-producing animals, follow the product’s specified meat and milk withdrawal periods before the products are used for human consumption.
