Almoxla

Almoxla injection by Star is a 100 ml Amoxicillin 15% injectable suspension for veterinary (animal) use only. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic for the treatment of alimentary, respiratory & urogenital tract and secondary bacterial infections.

Package Contains: Each Almoxla package contains 100 ml of injection & a leaflet.

Composition:  Almoxla

Each ml contains:

Amoxicillin Trihydrate equivalent to 150mg Amoxicillin base.

Dosage: See package insert for full prescribing information or as directed by a registered doctor.

Indications / Uses: It is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract, urogenital tract, alimentary tract infections, mastitis, skin and soft tissue infections. To prevent secondary bacterial infections during viral disease in all target species, caused by micro-organisms susceptible to amoxicillin.

Dosage & Administration:

  • CATTLE, SHEEP & GOATS: 1ml per 10 kg body weight by intramuscular route only; repeat if necessary after 48 hours.
  • DOGS & CATS: 5-1 ml per 5 kg body weight by intramuscular or subcutaneous route only.
  • POULTRY: 25 ml per kg body weight by intramuscular route only.

Side Effects / Adverse Reactions:

  • Pain, redness or swelling at the injection
  • Nausea, vomiting or
  • Skin rash, itching or
  • Allargic reactions including facial swelling or difficulty breathing; these require urgent medical attention.

Cautions: Shake well before use. Keep away from children.

Contraindications: Do not inject animals hypersensitive to penicillin. Do not use it intravenously.

Withdrawal Period: Meat: 25 days. Milk: 03 days. Almoxla back

Storage Condition:

Store at a cool and dry place.

Protect from moisture, freezing, heat & sunlight.

Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
