Aklen Crystolite foaming cleanser is ultra-gentle and cleans deep down to the pores. It is formulated for acne-prone & oily skin. The cleanser cleanses away acne bacteria, clears the skin, and prevents clogged pores. It is ideal for use in conjunction with topical acne medications.

Ingredients / Composition: Water, Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, Disodium laureth sulfosuccinate, Lauryl hydroxysultaine, Bis-PEG-18 methyl ether dimethyl silane, Silicone, Lactic acid, Cocamidopropyl betaine, Cocamide DEA, Imidazolidinyl urea, Perfume, Aquaderm, Disodium EDTA, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil.

Directions for Use:

Apply a small amount of Aklen
Foaming Cleanser on your face.
Rub or massage gently into your
Skin using a brush or with the fingertips.
Rinse off using water and dab your face dry with a clean towel.

Features / Indication:

Dermatologically recommended for oily, combination, or acne-prone skin.
Gently removes sebum oils, dirt, skin debris, and makeup from the skin with a gentle foaming action.
Rinses clean without leaving any irritating residue.
Doesn’t leave the skin tight or overly dry.
Non-comedogenic (won’t block pores).

Its ingredients & their uses:

Water: Acts as a solvent, forming the base of the cleanser.
Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate: It’s derived from sarcosine, an amino acid, and is known for its gentle cleansing and foaming properties, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate: A rich, foamy & gentle cleansing agent that effectively removes impurities while being less irritating.
Lauryl Hydroxysultaine / Cocamidopropyl betaine: It is a mild, amphoteric surfactant commonly used in personal care products. It contributes to the foaming action, aiding in the removal of dirt and oil.
Bis-PEG-18 methyl ether dimethyl silane: It belongs to the chemical class of siloxanes and silicones. It is often used in skincare and hair care products to enhance texture, improve spreadability, and provide a smooth, silky feel.
Silicone: Silicone is preferred for its soft, non-abrasive texture, making it suitable for all skin types. The unique texture of silicone helps remove makeup, dirt, and other impurities, providing a deep cleanse.
Lactic acid: It is a chemical exfoliator. It sloughs off dead skin, softens the skin, allowing the skin to better absorb and retain the product.
Cocamide DEA, or cocamide diethanolamine, is a chemical compound derived from coconut oil and diethanolamine. It’s a viscous, colourless liquid commonly used as a foaming agent in personal care products.
Imidazolidinyl urea: Imidazolidinyl urea is a common preservative used in cosmetics and personal care products. It’s an antimicrobial agent that helps prevent the growth of bacteria, yeast, and mold, extending the shelf life of products.
Perfume: The term “fragrance” or “parfume” on a cosmetic ingredients list usually represents a complex mixture of dozens of chemicals.
Aquaderm: Aquaderm is a moisturizing composition. It aims to enhance the skin’s natural hydration and strengthen the skin barrier.
Disodium EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is a chelating agent. In cosmetics, it helps stabilize formulations, prevent deterioration, and enhance the effectiveness of other ingredients.
PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil: it’s a Surfactant & derived from castor oil that has been treated to add polyethylene glycol molecules. It helps different ingredients mix together and spreads products evenly on the skin.

Cautions: Do not use if you have known sensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Side Effects: Do not take this product if you are allergic to its ingredients. It is generally considered a safe product, it can cause some side effects in certain individuals, including skin irritation, redness, dryness, allergic reactions like rash & increased sun sensitivity.
