Movcol (Polyethylene glycol 3350+ Sodium chloride +Sodium bicarbonate +Potassium chloride) sugar-free sachets are manufactured by Genix Pharma Pvt.) Ltd. This medicine is prescribed for effective relief from constipation.

Each pack contains: Each pack of Movcol contains 10 sachets and an enclosed leaflet.

Composition:

Each sachet contains:

Polyethylene glycol 3350 (B.P) 13.125g

Sodium chloride (B.P) 0.3507 g

Sodium bicarbonate (B.P) 0.1785 g

Potassium chloride (B.P) 0.0466 g

On reconstitution in 125 ml of water, each sachet provides:

Sodium 65mmol/l                        Chloride 53mmol/l

Bicarbonate 17mmol/l              Potassium 5.4mmol/l

Usage: It is a sachet powder for oral solution. Movcol is a laxative to treat constipation.

Dosage: Constipation: adults, adolescents an elderly: 1-3 sachets per day, according to individual response. Long term use: 1-2 sachets per day.

Fecal impaction: 8 sachets a day. All should be consumed within a 6 hour period or as directed by the physician.

Side effects: Side effects of Movcol are indigestion, feeling sick, vomiting, diarrhea or bloating. 

Indications: Store at room temperature. Protect from heat, light and moisture. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children. To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
