Each Tablet Contains Montelukast sodium equivalent to Montelukast 5mg

Montelukast sodium is also known as SINGULAIR

Montelukast sodium, the active ingredient in SINGULAIR, is a selective and orally active leukotriene receptor antagonist that inhibits the cysteinyl leukotriene CysLT1 receptor.

Montelukast is used regularly to prevent wheezing and shortness of breath caused by asthma and decrease the number of asthma attacks.

This medication can help decrease the number of times you need to use your rescue inhaler. This medication is also used to relieve symptoms of hay fever and allergic rhinitis (such as sneezing, stuffy, runny, itchy nose).
