Minicol Drops (Simethicone USP) are used to treat and decrease the discomfort caused by gas caused by air swallowing or certain foods/infant formula. Simethicone helps in breaking gas bubbles in the gut. Minicol-Drops

The medicine reduces the excessive gas in the stomach and relieves the symptoms like stomach discomfort, abdominal pain, and flatulence.

How to use it?

*Shake the bottle well before each use.

*Give the medicine by mouth after a meal or at bedtime or as prescribed by your doctor.

*Fill the dropper to the correct dosage and squeeze the liquid slowly in the baby’s mouth.

*You can also mix the required dosage into a little amount (approx. 1 ounce) of juice, infant formula, or cool water.

*Don’t use more than 12 doses per day.

Presentation: The package contains a dropper and glass bottle with approximately 30ml of solution.

Side Effects:

Some minor and major side effects of these drops may include:

  • Diarrhea Minicol-Drops-back
  • Loose stools (rare)
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Constipation (rare)
  • Dry mouth (rare)
  • Chill (rare)

However, you must contact your doctor if such conditions get worse.

Storage: Keep the lid firmly closed. Keep it out of the reach of children and store it at room temperature.

Warnings:

The use of medicine is not recommended

  • In pregnancy until necessary.
  • During breastfeeding until necessary.
  • For use in infants since the safety and efficiency of use are not clinically established.
