Lamisil Cream 1% (Terbinafine HCI) 10 grams is a Broad-spectrum Antifungal.

Contains:

1 gm cream contains:

10 mg terbinafine Hydrochloride (BP Specs)

Excipients: Sodium Hydroxide, Benzyl, Alcohol, Sorbitan Monostearate, Cetyl palmitate, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate Monostearate & Isopropyl Myristate.

Therapeutic Indications:

  • Fungal infections of the skin caused by dermatophytes
  • Pityriasis (tinea) versicolor
  • Yeast infections of the skin, principally those caused by the genus Candida (e.g., C. albicans)
  • Treatment of plantar type tinea pedis (moccasin foot).

Dosage & Administration: Please see the leaflet inside the carton.

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years & over: Duration and frequency of treatment

  • Athlete’s foot: apply once a day for one week.
  • Plantar-type tinea pedis: apply twice a day for two weeks.
  • Dhobie (jock) itch and ringworm: apply for one week.
  • Skin candidiasis (intertrigo or sweat rash): apply once or twice a day for one to two weeks.
  • Pityriasis versicolor: apply once or twice a day for two weeks.

Clinically symptoms usually start to improve within a few days. Irregular use or premature discontinuation of treatment carries the risk of recurrence. If there are no signs of improvement within 2 weeks of first starting treatment, patients should see a doctor or pharmacist to verify the diagnosis.

Contraindications:  known Hypersensitivity to terbinafine or any of the excipients contained in the formulations.

Adverse Reactions: Such as skin peeling, itching, skin lesion, scab, skin disorder, skin color changes, redness, burning, pain application site pain, and application site irritation.

Pregnancy & Lactation: it is not appropriate for the consumer to use the product during pregnancy unless clearly necessary. Do not use this product during breastfeeding.

Instruction: FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Protect from heat, and light. May be irritating to the eyes. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse eyes thoroughly with running water. For Dosage & other details please see the leaflet inside the carton. Lamisil-back
