Fuskin-B
Fuskin-B (Fusidic acid and Betamethasone) is a cream used in reducing external inflammation. The inflammation can be due to bacterial infections, cells growth of skin, and eczema.
Package contains: Each packet contains 15-gram tube of cream.
Composition:
In 15 grams cream, each gram contains 20 mg (2% w/w) Fusidic acid BP and Betamethasone (Valerate) B.P 1.0 mg (0.1 % w/w) in a cream base.
Dosage: The cream should be applied thinly twice a day to the affected areas of the skin only, or as prescribed by physicain.
Uses: Fusidic acid is an anti-biotic and Betamethasone is a corticosteroid (anti-inflammatory) steroid. Both these ingredients work together to stop bacterial growth and eliminate inflammation.
Precautions:
The cream is for external purposes only.
If it is being applied on a child’s skin, don’t apply it to large areas of skin or at sensitive areas.
Store below 25°C.
Don’t use the cream for more than a week unless your doctor tells you to.
Don’t apply to operated areas or bruises.

Side Effects: It can cause itching temporarily. If applied to bruises and wounds, it can react negatively and cause pain.
Consult the doctor if the patient is hypersensitive to Fusidic acid and Betamethasone.
