Zolabrin

Zolabrin containing (Brinzolamide 1% w/v, Brimonidine Tartrate 0.2% w/v) is a 5ml Sterile Ophthalmic Suspension. Zolabrin eye drops are a fixed combination of a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor (brinzolamide) & an alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist (brimonidine). The drops not only reduce fluid production but also increase fluid outflow from the eye, thereby lowering intraocular pressure.

Package Contains: Each pack of Zolabrin eye drops contains 5ml suspension supplied in a plastic dropper bottle and a leaflet. 

Composition:

Each ml contains:

Brinzolamide USP 10mg.

Brimonidine Tartrate 2mg.

Benzalkonium chloride as preservative.

THERAPEUTIC INDICATION /Uses: ZOLABRIN is a fixed combination of a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor and an alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It combines mechanisms to further decrease eye pressure.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: As directed by the physician. The recommended dose is one drop of ZOLABRIN in the affected eye(s) two times daily. Shake well before use.

ZOLABRIN ophthalmic suspension may be used concomitantly with other topical ophthalmic drug products to lower IOP. If more than one topical ophthalmic drug is being used, the drugs should be administered at least five minutes apart.

CONTRAINDICATION:

Hypersensitivity: It is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any component of this product.

Neonates and Infants (Under the Age of Two Years): It is contraindicated in neonates and infants (under the age of two years).

Side Effects: Zolabrin can cause eyes irritation or discomfort, blurred vision, dry mouth or a bitter taste after drops drips to the back of the throat.

INSTRUCTIONS: Store between 2℃- 25℃. Protect from light. Keep out of the reach of children. Use within one month after opening. To be sold on the prescription of registered medical practitioner only. Shake well before use.
