OptiFresh eye drops are a 10 ml sterile ophthalmic solution containing polyvinyl alcohol 1.4% and povidone 0.6%.

Package Contains: Each pack of OptiFresh contains an eye drop bottle of 10ml in a dropper bottle & a leaflet.

Composition: Each ml contains:

Polyvinyl Alcohol U.S.P 14mg

Povidone U.S.P 6mg

Dosage and administration: See package insert. Instill one or two drops in the affected eye(s) or as suggested by the physician.

Indications / Uses: It is indicated for temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of eye(s) or due to exposure to wind or sun. Also may be used as a protectant against further irritation. Relieves dryness & irritation and provides soothing, refreshing, and cooling effect. Supplements aqueous, lipid, or mucin deficiencies.

Dry eye syndrome (insufficient tears).
Eye irritation due to: Dust, smoke, wind, pollution. Prolonged screen use (computer/mobile). Air-conditioning or dry environments.
Burning, stinging, grittiness, or foreign-body sensation.
Temporary relief of redness and discomfort.
Post-eye strain or mild environmental eye stress.
Supportive lubrication after minor eye procedures (as advised).

Side Effects: Serious allergic reactions to this drug are rare. Vision may be temporarily blurred when this product is first used. Also, minor burning/stinging/irritation may temporarily occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen for more than 72 hours, discontinue use and consult a physician. If the solution changes color or becomes cloudy, do not use.

Warnings & Precautions: To avoid contamination, do not touch the tip of the container to any surface. Replace the cap after using.

Pregnancy & Lactation: There are no adequate and well-controlled studies available. The drug should be used during pregnancy and lactation only if the potential benefit justifies the anticipated risk or as suggested by the treating physician.

Instructions: Store below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Use only on medical advice. Keep out of the reach of children, for Ophthalmic use only. Shake well before use. The contents should not be used more than four weeks after first opening the bottle.
