Mydosone

Mydosone (Prednisolone-Sulphacetamide) by Remington is a 5ml eye suspension sterile ophthalmic drops. It is used for the treatment of ocular infection & inflammation.

Package Contains: Each pack of Mydosone contains 5ml of eye drops in a dropper bottle.

Composition:  Mydosone

Each ml contains:

Prednisolone Acetate U.S.P 2.5 mg.

Sulphacetamide Sodium B.P 100 mg.

Indications / Uses: Prednisolone acetate is a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation, redness, swelling, and irritation. Sulfacetamide sodium is an antibiotic that helps treat or prevent bacterial infections.

It is indicated for the treatment of non-purulent inflammatory eye conditions of either bacterial or allergic origin, like conjunctivitis, blepharitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, and others.

Dosage & Administration:

  • Instill 2 drops into the affected eye/s 4 times daily.
  • Use as prescribed by your physician.

Warnings & Precautions: Use the drops exactly as prescribed by your eye doctor/physician.

  • Wash your hands before applying the drops. Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any surface. This helps prevent contamination.
  • Do not wear contact lenses while you have an active eye infection or inflammation unless your eye doctor specifically advises otherwise.
  • If contact lens use is permitted, follow your doctor’s instructions regarding when to remove and reinsert them.
  • Do not use longer than directed by your doctor. Long-term use of the steroid component may increase eye pressure.

Caution: Once opened, use within 4 weeks. Protect from sunlight, heat, and moisture. Do not freeze. Store in a cool place and away from children’s reach.  Mydosone back
