Kunoxy plus (Ofloxacin) Sterile is a REMINGTON 0.6% 5ml (Approx) Ear Drops. It is a sterile aqueous anti-infective (anti-bacterial) solution for otic use. Kunoxy (Ofloxacin) works against many types of bacteria, including gram-positive and gram-negative ones.
It kills bacteria by blocking an important enzyme called DNA gyrase. This enzyme helps bacteria grow and multiply. When it is blocked, the bacteria cannot survive and die. It kills bacteria and stops their growth, helping to reduce infection and inflammation.
Package Contains: Each Kunoxy plus package contains 5ml eye drops in a dropper bottle & a leaflet.
Composition: For external use only. Each ml contains: 
Ofloxacin U.S.P. 6.00mg.
Inactives: Benzalkonium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, & HCI/NaOH to adjust pH.

Indications & Uses: Kunaxy (Ofloxacin otic solution) is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the specific conditions listed below:
Otitis Externa: Otitis Externa in adults and paediatric patients, one year and older, due to Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media in patients 12 years 12 years and older with perforated tympanic membrane, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Acute Otitis Media in paediatric patients one year and older with tympanostomy tubes due to Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Contraindications: Ofloxacin otic solution is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Ofloxacin, to other quinolones, oг to any of the components in this medication.
Side Effects: Application site reaction, otitis externa, urticaria, abdominal pain, dysaesthesia, hyperkinesia, halitosis, inflammation, pain, insomnia, coughing, pharyngitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, and tachycardia.
Warning & Precaution: As with other anti-infective preparations, prolonged use may result in overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms, including fungi. If the infection does not improve after one week, cultures should be obtained to guide further treatment.
If otorrhea persists after a full course of therapy, or if two or more episodes of exclude an underlying condition otormea occur within six months, further evaluation is recommended to exclude an underlying condition, such as cholesteatoma, foreign body, or a tumor.
Pregnancy & Nursing Mothers: There are, however, no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Ofloxacin should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
