I-Fresh

I-Fresh (Polyvinyl Alcohol U.S.P. 1.4% & Povidone U.S.P. 0.6%) eye drops by Schazoo SPL are a 10 mL ocular lubricant, a sterile ophthalmic solution. It has been used to increase the viscosity of ophthalmic preparations, thus prolonging the contact of the ingredient with the eye. Both Polyvinyl alcohol and Povidone are included in artificial tears preparation used in the management of dry eye(s).

Package Contains: Each I-Fresh package contains an eye dropper bottle of 10ml & a leaflet.

Composition: I-Fresh

Each ml contains:
Polyvinyl Alcohol U.S.P.  14 mg
Povidone U.S.P.  6 mg
Benzalkonium Chloride as preservative, Disodium Edetate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate, Disodium Hydrogen Phosphate and WFI.

Dosage: As directed by the doctor.

Dosage & Administration: Instill one or two drops into the affected eye(s) as needed or as advised by the physician.

Indications / Uses: I-Fresh is a sterile ophthalmic solution formulated to provide comfort and prompt relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye(s) or due to exposure to wind or sun. It may also be used as a protectant against further irritation.
I-Fresh sterile ophthalmic solution relieves dryness & irritation and provides a soothing, refreshing and cooling effect. It supplements aqueous, lipid or mucin deficiencies.

Contra-Indications: I-Fresh sterile ophthalmic solution is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.

Precautions/ Warnings: To prevent contamination of the solution, do not touch the dropper tip to any surface. Replace cap after using. The use of drug should be discontinued if eye pain, change in vision, continued redness and irritation of the eye(s) are observed. If any of the above condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, discontinue use and consult doctor. Do not use the product, if solution changes color or becomes cloudy.

Side Effects: These lubricating ingredients are generally safe and well-tolerated. However, some mild, short-lived side effects may occur immediately after putting the drops in your eyes, including:

  • Temporary blurred vision: Your vision may become slightly hazy for a few minutes while the fluid spreads across the eye surface. Avoid driving or operating machinery until your vision clears.
  • Mild stinging or burning: A minor, transient prickling sensation is common upon application.
  • Watery eyes or light sensitivity: Your eyes may briefly produce extra tears or feel slightly sensitive to bright light.  I-Fresh back

Directions / Instructions:

  • Protect from freezing.
  • Store below 30°C.
  • Protect from heat, light and moisture.
  • Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
  • To be used within 4 weeks after opening.
