Hylosan

Hylosan (Sodium Hyaluronate Ophthalmic Solution JP 0.18% w/v) is a 5ml sterile ophthalmic solution. The Sodium Hyaluronate eye drops are also known as artificial tears. They are used to relieve eye dryness and soreness. They moisten, soothe, and lubricate the surface of your eye, making it feel more comfortable.

Package Contains: Each Hylosan package contains an eye drop in a dropper bottle of 5ml and a leaflet.

Sodium Hyaluronate B.P. 1.8mg

Dosage: As directed by the physician.

Dosage & Administration: Instill one to two drops 2 to 3 times in the affected eye(s) or as directed by the physician.

Uses: Hylosan eye drops are used for the relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye due to exposure to dust, smoke, air conditioning, extended computer use, or contact lens wear. May also be used as a protectant against further irritation. Relieves dryness and provides soothing, refreshing, and cooling effects.

Side Effects: Most people do not experience problems, but temporary reactions can include:

• Transient Blurred Vision: Vision may be blurry for a short period immediately after instillation.
• Mild Irritation: Users may feel slight stinging, burning, or a foreign body sensation.
• Redness and Watering: Temporary eye redness or increased tearing can occur.
