REVOMET PLUS GEL

REVOMET PLUS GEL Metronidazole 1% and Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.25% is an antibacterial and antiprotozoal dental gel. It is supplied in a 40 g tube and is used to help treat oral and gum infections caused by bacteria and certain protozoa.

Package Contains: Each REVOMET PLUS package contains 40g gel tube with a tooth filler.

Composition:  Contains: Metronidazole (BP Specs.) 1.0% w/w

Chlorhexidine gluconate solution (BP) eq. to Chlorhexidine gluconate 0.25% w/w

Product complies Mfg. specs.

Dosage & Administration: As directed by the physician.

Applications: Apply the gel directly on the affected area twice a day or as directed by the physician.

Uses/ Indications: The gel is indicated for Gingivitis, Periodontitis, Periodontal pockets, Dry sockets, Guided tissue regeneration, Denture ulcers, Oral candidiasis, Stomatitis, Periodontal, and Pre-Implantation treatment, Maxillofacial surgery, and Infections caused by anaerobic bacteria.

Side Effects: Like all medicines, the gel may cause some side effects, such as:

  • Burning or stinging sensation at the application site.
  • Mild irritation of the gums or oral tissues.
  • Temporary numbness or tingling in the mouth.
  • Altered or metallic taste.
  • Dry mouth.
  • Redness or swelling at the application site.
