Fudic

Fudic (Fusidic Acid, B.P) 20mg/g cream. It is an Antibiotic cream for external use only. Fudic cream is an antibiotic with powerful antibacterial activity against a number of gram-positive organisms. It is used for skin infections.

Package contains: Each package of Fudic contains 15g Cream 2%. It is also available as 5g cream tube.

Dosage: See package insert for full prescribing information or as directed by the registered doctor.

Application: The cream is applied to the affected area 2-3 times daily, generally for a period of 7 days, except for acne where therapy should be extended for a longer period according to the nature of the disease.

Indications: Fudic cream is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by Staphylococci, Streptococci, Propionibacterium acne, Corynebacterium minutissimum and other Fudic cream-sensitive organisms.

The most important indications being: Impetigo, Carbuncles, Infected wounds, Hidradenitis, Folliculitis, Boils, Paronychia, Sycosis barbae, Erythrasma & Acne vulgaris.

It is an invisible, non-staining preparation, which is cosmetically acceptable for the treatment of face and scalp infections.

Side Effects: The cream is remarkably well tolerated and there is an extremely low frequency of hypersensitivity reactions.

Instructions: Protect from heat, light & moisture. Store at 15°C-25°C. Medicine should be kept out of the reach of children. To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
